Today is Melboune Day. It is when lots of people place a bet on their horse to win. There are about 9 races but the 7th race is the big race and that's where lots and lots of people place a bet and the horses can come 1st 2nd and 3rd.

My Holiday

On my holiday I went to Seaworld and I went on lots of rides but my favourite ride was the flume ride I had a lot of fun at Seaworld. I also went to a beach I saw a fish at the beach.I also went to the movies and saw UP and G-FORCE.

There was Tashi Jack & Harry Potter all sorts like that. some teachers dressed up and some teachers didn't you didn't have to dress up you could just go in your normal school clothes but I didn't dress up.

What is an igneous rock

Igneous rocks come out of a volcano.

When igneous rocks come out of a volcano it is formed by the lava. It is made from crystals which have grown into each other. These rocks are not usually layered.

I think crystals are fantastic because you can collect them. Also you can show them to your class.
